Moving a Shopify store to Medusa.js without losing rankings

Replatforming is a migration problem first. The storefront is the easy part; catalog, customers and search rankings are where projects stall.

The checklist we run before cutover

1. Export catalog, customers and order history and reconcile row counts.
2. Map every live URL to its new counterpart and generate 301s, including paginated category pages.
3. Keep structured data parity: Product, Offer, BreadcrumbList.
4. Benchmark LCP, INP and CLS on the same throttled profile before and after.
5. Run both stores in parallel until the numbers match.
