Web design and development services

TL;DR: Web design and development services here are one engagement, not two suppliers. The page is planned around what it asks your visitor to do, and the build behind it is written by the team that planned it. Week one costs $2,500, the week that decides the build is credited back to it, and the build itself starts at $5,000.

What this includes
Most quotes you collect for web design and development services come from two companies: one designs, one builds, and you spend the project carrying decisions from one to the other. We sell the two halves as one engagement. Before anything is drawn, we write down what each page answers, who it is for and the single action it asks for. The same team then designs it, writes the build behind it and hands you a site that works on a live address, so the decision taken on paper is the decision your customer meets.
- A written plan per page: what it answers, who it is for, and the one action it asks the visitor to take
- Design drawn at phone size first, then the real page on an address you can open yourself, so nothing is approved from a picture
- The build behind the design, either headless commerce builds when the catalogue is the business, or a custom build when your rules are the ones that matter
- The automation work that follows a launch, so orders, invoices and the weekly jobs stop being typed twice
- A speed budget agreed in the scope and measured on a phone before launch, rather than promised on the first call
- The addresses that bring you visitors today, each one written next to the one that replaces it and tested before it moves
- Your files, your domain, your hosting and your reporting account, all in your name, with the work documented well enough for another team to run it
A page that informs and a page that sells are not the same page, which is why the plan is written before the drawing. On the sites we are paid to rebuild, the ask appears before the reader scrolls past the first screen, it never changes down the page, and the copy around it exists to answer the objection that stops the click, which is a long observed habit rather than a design taste (what a reader takes in before scrolling). That is a decision about content and structure, taken in the second week, not in a design review. It is also the part a rebuild usually skips: the new site looks different and sells exactly the same.
When a site already exists, the plan starts from what it does today rather than from a blank page: the pages worth keeping, those to merge, those to retire, and the order to move them in. That is also the week we tell you plainly whether a rebuild is the cheaper answer at all, or whether a month of repairs on the pages that already earn you enquiries would serve you better.
How it works
Five phases, the same five on every project in the studio. The order matters more than the length, and the second phase is the one most quotes leave out.
- Discovery, 1 week, $2,500. One week with your numbers in front of us: where the visits arrive from, which pages turn them into enquiries or orders, and what the weak pages cost you every month. You leave with a written verdict and a fixed price for the work, which is a different thing from an estimate.
- Architecture, 1 week, $2,500, credited to the build. The site is decided in this week, in writing: the list of pages, what each one has to answer, the action it asks for, and the count that proves the action happened. Hand that document to another team and they can build the same site from it.
- Build, 2 to 10 weeks, from $5,000. Weekly releases on a live address, laid out at phone size first (why the small screen is decided first), so you judge the real thing rather than a mockup. The people who wrote the plan are the people writing the code.
- QA and launch, 1 week, included. We complete every form, booking, call and order by hand from a phone before going live. Then the switch itself: the old addresses mapped one by one, moved outside your busiest trading days, and reversible if the numbers look wrong.
- Care, monthly, from $1,500. Monitoring, content edits, and a small block of build time each month, cancelable with a month of notice.
The five phases, with the price printed next to each one, are published on this site, so you can compare the shape of the work before you commit to any of it. Nothing is renegotiated after Architecture is signed: the scoped quote you approve there is the price you pay.

What it costs
Every figure below is public, on this page and on the pricing section of this site. Each one is a starting point rather than a ceiling: what fixes the perimeter, the price and the calendar is the scoped quote you approve at the end of Architecture, and that quote holds.
- Discovery: $2,500 for one week.
- Architecture: $2,500, credited against the build.
- Build: from $5,000, over 2 to 10 weeks.
- QA and launch: included in the build.
- Care: from $1,500 a month, with 30 days notice.
The build range is decided by two things you can measure before you call. The first is volume: how many distinct pages or products the site has to carry, and how many of those are genuinely different from each other rather than the same page with a new title. The second is content: a catalogue with real photographs and real descriptions comes out near the low end, while a site whose every sentence has to be written with your team lands nearer the top, and we say which one you are in during Architecture rather than three weeks into the build. When the open question is the platform itself, that week is a written platform decision, bought on its own, with nothing built on top of it.
You will not find a form on this page standing between you and the numbers, because you cannot decide without a price, and the prices are above.

Proof
Food By Box rebuilt its storefront with us while keeping 2,500 products live on it. Google's own speed test scored the new site 95, and monthly visits climbed from 20,000 to 500,000 across 24 months of work. Nothing was dropped on the way: each address that had traffic was listed before the switch and still resolves today, which is the procedure Google describes for a change of address.
Tatiana Miath sells from her own shop in Florida. There, the phone load time fell from 4.8 seconds to just over one second, and she lost no position she already held when the site moved. The numbers behind those two projects are published the way we measured them, with what changed and in what order.
Neither project was rescued by a new look. Both were measured before the work started, which is why the figures sit on this page instead of a wall of logos. What we will not promise is a position on a results page or a sales figure: on a page like this one, in this market, that would be a story rather than a service.
The studio is in Brickell, at 78 SW 7th Street, and we meet clients on site across South Florida in English and Spanish; the archin who writes your plan is who writes the plan and reviews the build, not a sales team. Michael Agnassia has spent 15 years in ecommerce, writes the architecture and reads the code before launch.
Questions
What do web design and development services include here?
Design that has to do something, and the build that makes it hold: a written plan per page, the design, the build, the checks before launch, and the address list. Nothing in the engagement ends at a mockup, and the price of every phase is on this page before you speak to anyone.
How much does web design in Miami cost?
Discovery is $2,500 for one week, Architecture is $2,500 credited to the build, and a build starts at $5,000 over 2 to 10 weeks. Care starts at $1,500 a month. The quote signed in Architecture fixes the perimeter, the price and the timeline, and it does not move afterwards.
How long does a Miami web agency take to ship a site?
A typical project runs 4 to 12 weeks from the first morning of Discovery to launch: one week of Discovery, one week of Architecture, then 2 to 10 weeks of build depending on how many pages or products are involved. Care runs monthly after that, with 30 days notice on either side.
Can we start with consulting instead of the full five phases?
No. Most clients start with Discovery alone, because a written verdict on the site you run today is worth having even if you act on it with a team you already employ. Roughly half then continue into Architecture and the build.
Will a new site lose the positions the current one holds?
Nothing is assumed, and nothing is thrown away blindly: we take an inventory of the addresses that pull visitors in, write down what each one turns into, then test the pair on the live site before the switch, with a staged cutover and a path back. On the Food By Box rebuild, every address that carried traffic was kept. None of that is a promise about a ranking: the promise is the list and the checks.
What happens to the site we already have?
It gets measured before anything is drawn. Discovery returns the list of pages that earn you visitors next to the list that only takes up room, and the switch plan is built from it: what stays, what moves, what is merged and what is retired. If the honest answer is that a rebuild is not worth the money yet, that is what you read in the week you paid for.
Who owns the site, the files and the accounts when the work is over?
You do, on final payment: files, domain, hosting and the reporting account are in your name, and the work is documented so another team could pick it up. Care is optional and cancelable with 30 days notice.
Do you take on projects outside Florida?
Yes. The studio is in Miami and the delivery model is remote, working US Eastern hours with European hours covered, so a team abroad gets the same weekly release and the same written verdict.
